[i]The Aranosians were the unicorns before your average white horned horses. Matter of fact, the mythical unicorns are half bred offspring from Aranosians with mortal mares.

They are ancient, Arnion dating back to the creation. Aranosian's believe in God the creator, as they lived in Eden.

However when man became foolish and ate from the tree of life, Aranosian's ran because they knew that there gold hooves, and horns were valued among the land of humans. Though now they know humans are more advanced, and capable of loving creatures without greedy purposes, they have exposed themselves through Aranosia Island. [/i]

Quick intro into the breed. No Aranosians didn't really create unicorns, it's just how Arnion tells the story.

Intelligence ♥
Aranosian's are far smarter than humans, and thus allow them to actually be advanced in technology, if they feel the need to.

Many Aranosian's prefer to be trained with Hand signals.

Speech♥
Aranosian's far and wide can learn to speak any language possible, when they do if they trust you, they will translate animal speech for you. This normally breeds out in half-bloods, though there still intelligent.

Wings ♥
The wings come in three types:
♥Aura: Basically magic from the aranosian's which form "wings" these wings can be used for flight. Though this type of wing is rare and usually only comes from a breeding with Arnion.
♥Feathered Wings: Are rather common, Aranosian's normally contain wings when they hold the design of birds.
♥Bat Wings: Because Aranosian's are essentially pure beings, Bat wings are a very rare occurance, and is actually believed to be nothing more than a fluke. Batwings do not signify an evil Aranosian, though because there tormented by other horses they do risk becoming evil.

Markings♥
Markings can be anything in any color. There's really no restriction on markings except on un-holy matter (Upside down crosses, devil marks, etc) (This is my personal opinion because of my religion, please respect this.)

Horns♥
Aranosian horns can be made of any substance, they however are NEVER straight, and grow from 2-3 feet, sometimes longer. The second horn is alittle shorter than the first.

Breed Standards♥
Never will a purebred Aranosian have less than 2 horns, they may have more, but 2 is breed standard. They are heavy, and shaped like Shires, height's ranging fom 18 hh to 23.3 hh. Aranosian's must have long flowing mane/tails, they don't normally allow there hair to be clipped, as they feel awkward without there hair. There hair is silky smooth, almost like silk. They have feather's that start at there knees and flow down, they are rather large, and can be carefully wrapped up in leg wraps if needed.

Magic♥
Aranosians can weld magic, they also weld the gift to give eternal life. Or prolong one's life. Though Aranosian's need a reason why. The power to prolong life is rare in Aranosians, though other types of magic are boundless.

Sickness♥
Rarely do Aranosian's get sick, as most have the power to heal themselves. Though if they do get sick, the easiest way to tell is by there hooves, if there hooves aren't golden in color there may be something wrong.
Brown hooves indicate a sick Aranosian.
While Silver hooves in mares indicate a mare ready to foal.

[b]Discipline♥
Aranosian's are able to compete in a wide range of classes. Believe it or not they make wonderful racers. Though most people don't believe it because of there thick build.
They also make great Jumpers. Though if winged there wings must be bound. Aranosian's are noble therefor they won't use there magic to help them win in a race/dressage/jumping competition, and will allow themselves to be tacked properly to restrict magic if needed.[/b]

Breeding♥
Aranosians carry the foal for the normal term of a horse, 11 months. Though if you notice your mares hooves turn silver, there foaling early.

Ara x Ara = Aranosian foal, Pureblood
Ara x halfblood Ara = Pureblood Aranosian
Half Ara x Half Ara = Aranosian, with slight conformations of the other breeds.
Aranosian x Other Breed = Half Blood, may show signs of other breed, may be shorter, will still have to horns.
Half Ara x Other Breed = 1/3 Aranosian, still show's signs from aranosian but with influence from the other breed
1/3 Ara x Other breed = Aranosian influenced horse, these horses actually excel in whatever there trained in because these horses are rather intelligent still.
